Bill Duff Knocked Out by Taekwondo Spinning Heel Kick
Here’s a video clip of Bill Duff, host of the History Channel’s TV show Human Weapon getting knocked out. It looks like someone else beside the cameramen from Human Weapon was shooting this match.
He’s fighting a Champion Taekwondo fighter when he gets caught with a spinning heel kick to the head. The funny thing about a Taekwondo match is that it’s really the furthest thing from a real fight; it’s really about who ever can kick the other one in the head first. (more…)
Dog Fighting Scum Bag Roy Jones Jr
Thanks to guys over at FightOpinion.com for giving me the heads up on this. I check their blog almost everyday.
I know this is a blog about Krav Maga, self defense and MMA but this pissed me off so bad I had to post it for you all. Evidently champion boxer Roy Jones Jr is a sick bastard. (more…)

It looks like the National Geographic channel is bringing back their show “Fight Science” for a “Fight Science 2″. If you saw the first one you know how great it is. It basically explains the science behind different martial arts moves. (more…)
Learning Muay Thai Low Roundhouse Kick Instructional
This is a video clip from a Duke Roufus Muay Thai instructional dvd. I would have to say his dvds are some of the best. Duke is a world champion kickboxer and a trainer of champions. Plus he trained “Shreech” from “Saved by the Bell”, and if he can help that dude he’s a master trainer. Duke was also a color commentator for K-1 in America. (more…)
Sherdog Interview with John Hackleman
I know this is an old clip, but if you haven’t seen it it’s new to you, plus it has some good insight into fighting which you should know. It’s an interview with John Hackleman who is Chuck Liddell’s trainer or striking coach, what ever you want to call it. He talks about Chuck getting knocked out by Quentin “Rampage” Jackson. (more…)
Versus TV – WEC – World Extreme Cagefighting
If you don’t have Versus TV and are into combat sports you should really think about getting it. They carry World Extreme Cagefighting (WEC), which I find to be really entertaining and fun to watch. I would have to say that their fighters and fights are just as good as UFC or Pride FC. In fact they have some of the UFC’s fighters, fighters like Joe “Diesel” Riggs and Jens Pulver. (more…)
Bas Rutten Krav Maga Handgun Defense
Former UFC Champ Bas Rutten demonstrating how to defend against having a handgun pulled you. This is a Krav Maga technique he learned from Darren Levine and Amir Perets.
I’ve been traveling a lot around the United States with the Krav Maga people Amir Perets and Darren Levine. Those two people are the people who teach FBI, CIA, the Special Forces. They teach the people that guard the nukes. Those guys are phenomenal with weapons, and obviously I’ve picked some things up along the way. So I’m going to show you only two gun defenses cause for the real gun defenses you have to go to them. Kravmaga.com okay, remember that, those guys know everything. You can put a gun here, here, here, on the back, anywhere you want, they going to take it away. I give you two of my favorites and the ones that I really know, because all of the other ones are not difficult but they know exactly how to explain it and I don’t. Okay.
One is the gun to the front. If somebody stands like this, it doesn’t really matter if he stands here, or here, or here as long as you can reach the gun. If he stands like this what’s the first move you’re going to do? You’re going to rearrange… redirect the line of fire. I’m standing right here. Most of the times they will probably say “put your hands up”. That’s exactly, he expects a movement, and see he already misses me. I show you from this angle. Watch this. You don’t see the gun right now, but you see I only have to do this, he’s already missing me. That’s a little movement, don’t do this. You don’t need it. Okay one more time from this side. He stands there, you go yup, he’s already missing you. Now you’re going to step in with force. With your left foot, you’re going to step in right next to his right foot. With your two knuckles you’re going to push the gun right here on his hips. Bang! You come in with a punch. You go underneath and you’re going to pull the gun out, like this. You step away like this. Now he is going to be the one to pay. Okay give me your wallet. (Laughing) Okay one more time…
The second one, he’s going to put a gun in my back. Now the word I’m going to tell you are the same words Darren Levine and Amir Perets are telling, are saying okay. I’m just repeating them cause they know everything one hundred percent to this. Okay first of all…

No Situational Awareness Equals Knife Attack
One of the things we are taught in Krav is situational awareness, because being aware and letting potential assailants know you’re aware of them is a big part of self defense. A lot of times by being “aware”, the assault is defused before it starts. You can either avoid it all together or be in a better position to defend and counter (more…)

Ignashov just slaughters Williams with low roundhouse kicks to the knee and thigh, which Ignashov is know for. (more…)
Bas Rutten Kicks Student in Head
This clip made me laugh out loud. I watched it like ten times, and laughed ever time. Bas is giving a ground fighting lesson and accidentally kicks a student that is watching in the head. Ouch!
Bas, you are the greatest!
Krav Maga Techniques
When people think of Krav Maga they usually think of the self defense or weapons defense techniques, like defense against gun or knife. As opposed to the fighting techniques, like left, right, right elbow. And for good reason, the Krav Maga weapon defense techniques are really where Krav shines. It was developed by and for the military initially, so that’s where all that good stuff comes from. (more…)
Krav Maga Worldwide Chief Instructor Darren Levine
This is big news! The man that’s responsible for Krav Maga being so popular in the United States is going out on a techniques and tactics tour. Anyone that’s ever had a chance to study with Darren Levine will tell you what a great instructor he is. I’ve been fortunate enough to get some classes in with him and I’m telling you he is a great instructor. So try and make one of these seminars. (more…)
Funny Muay Thai Fighter Groin Kick
Here’s a very strange clip of Muay Thai fighters going all out trying to kick each other in the junk. This is very unsportsman like behavior.
I have to admit it made me laugh out loud. I’m sure you will too.
I guess this is why groin kicks are illegal in sport fighting. Because the fighters would just focus in on the old family jewels.
I glad we train in groin kick defense in krav. You never know when you’ll get in a professional nut kicking contest.
Krav Maga, Martial Art or Not?
A lot of people want to know if Krav Maga is considered a martial art or not. Here’s how Darren Levine (Chief Krav Maga instructor for the United States) and John Whitman addressed this question in the book Complete Krav Maga. (more…)
UFC 79 Chuck Liddell vs. Wanderlei Silva
I am really looking forward to this UFC event, mostly because I really can’t stand Matt Hughes and Wanderlei Silva and really like Chuck Liddell and Georges St. Pierre. If I could have my way it could be a tag team match, Liddell and St. Pierre vs Hughes and Silvia. (more…)
