UFC 79 Chuck Liddell vs. Wanderlei Silva
I am really looking forward to this UFC event, mostly because I really can’t stand Matt Hughes and Wanderlei Silva and really like Chuck Liddell and Georges St. Pierre. If I could have my way it could be a tag team match, Liddell and St. Pierre vs Hughes and Silvia.
I know that Hughes is a champion, but he’s boring to watch fight unless he’s getting his ass kicked. Plus he just comes off like a jerk on the Ultimate Fighter TV show. In contrast to St. Pierre that comes off like a good guy.
Silva is a fun fighter to watch but also comes off like a jerk, mostly because of the dispute he had with Mark Coleman and Hammer House. Coleman and Silva have since patched things up and appeared in a commercial together.
If you don’t know the incident I’m talking about, it happened at the Coleman vs. Rua. Shogun broke his arm in a freaky way during the fight and Coleman wasn’t aware and wanted to keep fighting and Silva jumped in the ring.
